Washington LPN Continuing Education Requirements

LPNs are required to complete 8 contact hours of continuing education and 96 hours of practice annually.

• Health Equity: At least 2 of the 8 contact hours must be in health equity.

• Suicide Prevention: A one-time, approved 6-hour training in suicide assessment, treatment, and management is required for initial licensure and must be completed by the end of the first full year of licensure. These hours may count toward the annual 8-hour CE requirement.

• Telehealth: LPNs who provide telehealth services must complete the required one-time telemedicine training.

Our Provider Approval

LVN Learning Institute is approved by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT), CEP #15135, to provide continuing education for LVNs and LPNs.
