Continuing Education for North Carolina LPNs
LVN Learning Institute offers relevant, up-to-date nursing courses developed by an experienced nurse educator. This 15-hour CE bundle is designed for North Carolina LPNs choosing the continuing competency option of 15 contact hours of continuing education plus 640 hours of active nursing practice within the previous two years.
LVN Learning Institute is a California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians approved continuing education provider, CEP #15135. North Carolina’s acceptable-provider guidance recognizes other state boards of nursing and providers of professional continuing education for healthcare professionals.
Important: The 15-hour option requires both 15 contact hours of continuing education and 640 hours of active nursing practice. Nurses must also complete a self-assessment and develop a learning plan as part of North Carolina’s continuing competency process.
